Why is research important for clinical application?

Research improves clinical succes in many ways. Such as:





(1) Validating a clinical method by measuring the results. Allows the psychologist to decide which method is most likely to succeed.


(2) Helping diagnosis by providing better definitions, tests and profiles.


(3) Providing an insight on possible causes for some difficulties (such as Parkinson's disease...)
