What is the difference between the Clinical Manifestation and Diagnosis??

i have a research about diabetes, and i couldn't figure out the difference between the clinical manifestation and diagnosis

What is the difference between the Clinical Manifestation and Diagnosis??
"clinical manifestations" are what happens as a result of having xyz disease (the symptoms)

diagnosis has to do with the process by which a physician determines which disease it is with which you suffer
Reply:The Clinical Manifestation would be the symptoms. For instance diabetics would be for example the yellowing of the skin and nails caused by "Advanced glycosylation end products are probably responsible for yellowing of skin and nails." Diagnosis is a determination of a specific disease or condition. Basically Manifestation would be the symptoms which lead the physician along with tests CAT scans, X rays, MRI's to give a diagnosis basically giving a name to the medical issue.
Reply:Another term for clinical manifestation is signs and symptoms. diagnosis is done by nurses (through nursing diagnosis based on the patients signs and symptoms to formulate a nursing care plan) and doctors. the doctors diagnosis is the disease or condition that the patient has. they arrive with a diagnosis based on the patients signs and symptoms (subjective or objective) and diagnostic tests (such as blood chemistry or X-ray).
