I have a degree in biology. I would like to go into biological research but I dont know where to look for jobs

I would like to know about co-ops and internships, paid or unpaid, preferably in Michigan. But most internships and co-ops are for undergrad.s. I graduated three years ago. I have worked as a Lab tech with the American Red Cross for 2 years but I have no other experience and I have found it impossible over the last few years to find what I am looking for. I would like to do wet bench research assistant work or clinical research, preferably biomedical related. I am specifically interested in cancer biology, neurobiology or cardiology research. I have tried the Universities in my area but my attempts have failed. I need some sort of internship to build up my experience before most positions will consider me. I feel stuck in a rut and I am ready for my career to move forward. If anyone has ANY direction or advice to give me in this area it would be GREATLY appreciated.

You might check with ST. Judes research hospital. Might not be in Michigan, but if you want it bad enough, you go where the job is.
Reply:clinical research can be a better choice
Reply:I`ll bet one of the big drug companys will hire you. ?? Glaxo, Smith , Cline perhaps?
