Is there something wrong with me?

I have been working since the age of 16. I have graduated from College and now am working as a HR Assistant for a Clinical Research Company. The problem is, I have always jumped from one job to another. I seem to find fault in every job I have landed. Currently, I am extremely bored in my position. I have the ability to do a lot more but just do not have enough work. I have approached my Director many times, but still see no results, now I am looking for another job... I just can not be satisfied, are others in my position?

Is there something wrong with me?
I know exactly how you feel. The longest I have stayed with one job has been 2yrs and that is only because i like the people. I always seem to be bored and not have enough work and so I make stuff up to do but theres only so much cleaning and things I can do stuck at a desk all day. Ive asked for more responsibilities but alas nothing usually happens..Hopefully for the both of us we'll find a job that is perfect and things will work out :)

Its a really sad state of affair but ive found that the jobs that pay better require less activities....i mean i could work at say del taco(fast food place) and be busy for 8 hrs and time just flies but make minimum wage or do nothing and sit at a desk all day and make 15/hr....
Reply:At some point, I think you should set up a business of your own.
Reply:Just because you are no longer in college is no reason that you can't talk to a councilor. Go back to your last school and tell the councilor of the problem you're having. Maybe a couple more classes to specialize in a certain field with more challenges.
Reply:You are bored because there is no challenge. Like another answerer suggested...go see a career counselor. They can help determine your personality type and what type of career best fits you. Believe it or not some psychologists are also practicing career counselors. In looking for one make sure they are certified/licensed first. Visiting a career counselor isn't free so it could be rather expensive.

You can find one by going to this website: http://www.nbcc.org/
