Does clinical research mean only research work in laboratory?

No it means a lot more than that,





It involves using life to test novel drugs.. using animals and human subjects.


There are lot of ethical considerations, clinical research has to be properly managed by a head of clinical research, there are associates to help him.





the clinical research work area is not just a closed laboratory, there is lot of human interface.

clinical research definitely has ethical concerns attached to it. basically u are testing drugs on human beings and animals, so obviously lives are at stake...but there is always a bigger aspect to it...saving lives of a lot more number of people with the new drugs discovered. Report Abuse
